About Us

Meet Sara

My name is Sara Nagireddy, and I am the founder and CEO of Sara’s Treat 501(c)(3). In May of 2025, I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrated majors in Psychological and Brain Sciences and Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies and a minor in Biology. I started Sara’s Treat when I was a freshman in high school, when I first recognized the healthcare disparities within autism. I decided to create an organization that combines my passion for creation with my interest in autism and thus, I started Sara’s Treat.

What do we do?

Sara’s Treat is an online bakery that donates all of their proceeds towards organizations devoted to autism advocacy, financial assistance, research, etc. In the past, we have attended guest speaker events with hosts such as Temple Grandin to raise awareness for our bakery. We have conducted numerous fundraising efforts with success, selling over 1000 treats and raising over $4000 towards various organizations. For example, we have consistently raised money for “Hope Center for Autism”, an organization devoted to providing free/financially reduced ABA therapy for children with autism. Additionally, during the summer of 2019, we conducted a fundraiser for “The Color of Autism”, devoting to ending the stigma of people of color within the autistic community. We aim to continue raising money to support such organizations and continue with advocacy efforts for ASD communities.

How can you help?

The proceeds from every treat purchased are donated to organizations that help with financial aid/research/education for families who have children with autism. Our mission is to fund these grassroot organizations and foundations as much as possible to support local communities of ASD individuals and families. While purchasing from our bakery would contribute to these efforts, you can also donate directly to any of the organizations listed below. We at Sara’s Treat are devoted to helping these communities as much as possible, whether you purchase from us or not, and we want to provide any resources that would help you get involved in this area too.
